This website serves to help you, the new player, get started
with the best game ever made. It has the steepest learning curve
of any game. Although you can pretty much pickup & play in
simpler games like Counter-Strike or Battlefield:1942, and quickly
attain a fairly high level of performance by the time you figure
out the few control buttons, the situation is the opposite in
Allegiance. It takes weeks to grasp all the concepts to the point
where you can be considered a great player, and months to become
an overall specialist. Team play, tactics and a vast knowledge
of the tech is required to be truly successful.
Start with the Cadet
I Newbie Guide to get you going.Go play on the newbie servers.
Once you have the game basics of communication, loadouts, flight
controls, navigation and game play concepts, move on to the vet
servers. Come back and read further into ships, tech and factions.
Look for help in game from the @Alleg tagged players. Don't be
afraid to ask questions of veteran players in game. Look for the
players with a squad tag appended to their nick. Most of them
will gladly help you.
Join the Cadet
II Program once you have decided you want to learn more. It
will take you to the next level of competent game play.
